We are grateful for the land and for those who came before us.
We acknoweldge that Costron + Co was founded on lands of K'jipuktuk/ Halifax, Nova Scotia and Katarokwi /Kingston, Ontario, Turtle Island/Canada which is the unceded traditional territories of the Mi'kmaq, Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Huron-Wendat peoples and today is home to many First Nations, Inuit, and Metis peoples.
To this day our communities reflect their rich Indigenous roots, which are also enriched with the presence of Métis and First Peoples from other Nations across Turtle Island. We are honoured to share our work on the land of these first peoples who’s practices and spiritualities are tied to the land and predate the establishment of the earliest European colonies.
